On Saturday afternoon, April 19, The former Chairman, Peter Tan, Deputy Chairman, David Fung, and Treasurer, Javad Ameri of UKCTTA were delighted to meet the new Chairman of ETTA, Mr. Alex Murdoch and his dear wife at JAGS Table Tennis Club, to celebrate Mr. Murdock’s new job and the partnership of ETTA with UKCTTA for promoting table tennis amongst the Chinese community in England.
To celebrate this occasion, a large bottle of champagne was used for the partnerships of UKCTTA and ETTA.
Mr. Murdoch promised he would continue to support grassroots table tennis activities, especially the UKCTTA's needs, goals, and aspirations for promoting table tennis amongst the Chinese people in UK.
He stresses the importance of promoting table tennis to the highest level must come from associations and clubs such as UKCTTA and JAGS Table Tennis Club. According to Mr. Murdoch, it is in the interests of all table tennis associations to work together. ETTA will help to support and promote table tennis with UKCTTA and any other associations of good standing.

The UKCTTA Management Committee really believes that the new Chairman of ETTA is a truthful, caring and kind person. He and his wife are a joy to be with. And they both love table tennis and the Chinese people too!
We really believe what he told us, and will continue to build up link with ETTA in our promotion of table tennis amongst the Chinese people in Universities, education institutions, community centres, and sport clubs.
One of our projects would be to link UKCTTA to ETTA's magazine and website, so that Chinese people would be able to benefit from both associations’ activities.
UKCTTA is proud to have the support of ETTA Chairman, Mr. Alex Murdoch and his wife; they will be one of our important friends of the association.
UKCTTA is now looking for more professionals and business organisations to help us promote table tennis within Chinese community. If you have any funds or sponsorship that may be used to promote the sport amongst the Chinese community, please contact the association.
