有關南銀大學一些資料 -

或許你們都知道，此大學正進行一項綜合運動獎學金計畫，目的是幫助那些有運動天分的體育人才。過去數年，我們已發展了專為乒乓球員而設的獎學金計畫，而現時已有9名球員在此先驅計畫受惠其中。此計畫的成員將獲得各種不同的支援服務，包括最高每年3000英鎊的財政支持、免費享用校內運動設施而最重要是 – 每名計畫成員將有一位體育部門內的協調主任全權負責他們平衡各方面的需要，包括：學業、運動及個人投入事宜。各成員同時能夠彈性地處理學業問題(如所選讀學位用較長時間完成)均可與協調主任商討。

基於要維持此計畫的成功，現時正積極招攬乒乓球精英參與其中並已成功與JAGS的乒乓球會以拍檔形式推廣此計畫。JAGS球會總教練為Javad Ameri，於過去數年，已成功幫助南銀大學招入一批有天份的球員參與此計畫，同時已物色2名現居於英國的中國球員申請報讀下年度的南銀大學。

Table Tennis scholarship programme recruitment

London South Bank University

As you might be aware, the University runs a comprehensive programme of sports scholarships designed to support talented sportspeople at the institution. Over past few years we have developed a Table Tennis specific scholarship programme and are now one of the leading institutions in the country in this sport with 9 table tennis scholars.

Members of the programme receive various support services including up to £3000 per annum financial support, free access to sports facilities and support services and most importantly, each member of the programme is allocated a personal liaison officer within the Sports Department whose role is to help the scheme member balance their academic, sporting and personal commitments. Members can also receive academic flexibility (such as taking a degree course over a longer period of time) as negotiated by this liaison officer.

In order to maintain the success of this programme, we actively recruit table tennis players to the institution and have established a partnership with Jags Table Tennis Club.

The head coach of the Club, Javad Ameri, has helped us recruit a number of talented players to the institution over the past few years and has identified 2 Chinese players currently resident in the UK who may be interested in applying to the University for the coming Academic year.
