The objectives for which the Association is established are as follows:
- To engage in, promote, and advocate for the practice of Table Tennis within the Chinese community in the UK. This includes the organization and promotion of training centres for table tennis, local and national championship events, and participation in international table tennis competitions specifically geared towards the Chinese community.
- To further education and provide facilities in the pursuit of table tennis as a recreational and leisure activity, with the aim of enhancing the quality of life for the Chinese Community in the UK.
• The Association will host the National Juniors and Seniors Individual and Team Championships annually. These championships aim to identify talented Chinese players to represent the UK National Chinese Teams in the Annual European Chinese Table Tennis Championship.
• The Association aspires to establish regional Chinese Table Tennis training centres throughout the UK. Clubs affiliated with the UKCTTA may receive financial assistance to support their coaching programs and form Chinese squads within their clubs.
• Future plans involve hosting the Annual Chinese European Championship in the UK and offering support to top Chinese Table Tennis players to further develop their skills, potentially through training programs in China.
• The Association operates as a voluntary organization primarily led by Chinese volunteers and individuals dedicated to assisting the Chinese community. Its financial support is derived solely from sponsorships provided by individuals, companies, and organizations.
